Bojan Čičić's recording of Handel’s Complete Violin Sonatas reaches Number 2 in the Classical Charts.
Following the huge success of his recording of Bach's Partitas and Sonatas, Bojan Čičić is back with a collection from another 18th-Century giant. Bojan's "seductive" disc of G.F. Handel's Complete Violin Sonatas (BBC Record Review), with harpsichordist Steven Devine, has reached No. 2 in the Official Charts Specialist Classical Chart.

HANDEL: COMPLETE VIOLIN SONATAS
Bojan Čičić and Steven Devine
Handel's works for violin and harpsichord, says essayist Donald Burrows, 'do not attract attention by flashy virtuosity: rather, they are flowing and agreeable chamber music, in which the violinist is in musical conversation with the keyboard player'.
Who better to guide us in this conversation than two early music stars - Bojan Čičić, fresh from acclaimed solo recordings of Bach and Johann Jakob Walther; and Steven Devine, who has known the magnificent 156 Kirckman harpsichord since boyhood.
